Suspended from Facebook

I have no idea what I did to offend the gnomes that run Facebook, but when I logged on to my author’s page, there was a notice :

Your Page Has Been Unpublished This is because Gene Masters, Author goes against our Community Standards.”

So, apparently, my Facebook page has been unpublished for “violating Facebook’s Community Standards,” whatever that means exactly. But one of the things that is evident about being unpublished, is that I am no longer allowed to post to my (former) page, or respond to messages sent to me via Facebook.

Of course, there was a way to protest, which I did, politely asking what I did to “violate Facebook’s standards,” but, true to Facebook form, I have yet to receive a reply of any kind.

I have no idea how long unpublication lasts, but I suspect it is permanent. If so, so be it. You can still always find me on Linkdin here, and at Parler here, instead. Of course, one can always email at 240boat@gmail.com.

Frankly, I doubt that I will ever post to Facebook again, even if they eventually decide to reinstate my account.

  1. Can I just say what a relief to uncover an individual who really understands what theyre talking about on the web. You certainly know how to bring a problem to light and make it important. More people ought to read this and understand this side of the story. I was surprised that you arent more popular given that you most certainly have the gift.
